Suleyman's Garden

The Pomegranate

Huzur Vadisi is Turkey's longest established and best known venue for yoga holiday retreats. After twenty years of providing first class yoga holidays, two new venues were added to accommodate our ever growing waiting list. Last year we took on Suleyman's Garden and The Pomegranate as new retreats.

Both Suleyman’s Garden and The Pomegranate, set in stunning locations, have the same ambience, attention to detail, great food and relaxed atmosphere as Huzur Vadisi.

The three venues are located within an hour of each other on Turkey’s beautiful ‘Turquoise Coast’ offering a wide choice of yoga holiday retreats with world class teachers at different but equally lovely locations.

Retreats and holidays offering all styles of yoga are available from April to October.

The new Huzur Vadisi website with details of all new venues and 2016 programmes including Turkey, Italy and Spain, will be online shortly. In the meantime if you have any enquiries please contact Jane or Rowan on Many thanks.

Huzur Vadisi is a long-established and well-known venue for yoga holiday retreats. Set in a secluded mountain valley, surrounded by pine forest, the yurt accommodation nestles amid olive and fig groves. It is an oasis of peace and nature, and yet only a fifteen-minute drive from the sea and the small, chic yachting resort of Gocek. Established in 1993, it was the first centre of its kind in Turkey.

The combination of world-class yoga instruction, stunning unspoiled location, welcoming experienced staff and legendary food creates an experience for which teachers and guests have been returning year after year. Our largest venue, it can accommodate up to thirty.

Huzur Vadisi

‘Huzur Vadisi is one of those rare jewels that you want to keep secret but don't because you'd feel too selfish. Idyllic, nestled in the most beautiful scenery, the hospitality is unequalled and the food worth the trip in itself. If you want peace and quiet, real nature, real food and real people, Huzur Vadisi is for you.’
Michele Pernetta, Fierce Grace Yoga. London

‘Huzur Vadisi is my favourite yoga holiday destination and many of my students return as often as I do. The facilities are unique, the valley peaceful, the food excellent and the staff helpful and friendly.’
Simon Low - The Yoga Academy.

Suleyman’s Garden is a charming, small traditional farm set on the Mediterranean ‘Turquoise’ coast, with terraced vegetable fields, orchards, beautiful gardens and stunning sea views. It is just a five-minute walk through the forest to reach a beautiful, rocky swimming cove.

A smaller, more intimate venue than Huzur Vadisi, it offers accommodation for up to sixteen in simple wooden cabins with verandahs, set in lovely flowery gardens and swathed in vines.

It is located on an undeveloped and beautiful stretch of coastline, and yet is only 20 minutes by local bus from the small resort of Olu Deniz with Turkey’s most famous beach.

‘Just as special as Huzur Vadisi but with a completely different energy, Suleyman's Garden called to mind a mini Eden! Intimate, contained and abundant, fruit and vegetables of every description line the pathways that wind between the cosy huts, the kitchen and the shala. The views all the way along this quiet and dramatic part of the coastline are magnificent and it's incredibly hard to find such an unspoiled stretch of coast and peaceful nourishing garden in which to unwind body mind and soul, anywhere in the Mediterranean. The food picked and prepared the same day from the garden and sea was natural varied and delicious. The highlight for me is Deniz's fig jam. Please make a few jars for your guests to buy! Suleyman's is a tiny little haven full of nature's luxuries that made my heart smile.’

The Pomegranate is a small, individually designed boutique hotel, beautifully furnished, with an abundant garden and beautiful coastal views. The name represents the health giving properties of this wonderful fruit with its ruby red seeds, native to Turkey and the Mediterranean. It also has symbolic and mythological associations with natural cycles, rebirth, and renewal, which we hope you’ll experience on your yoga holiday here!

Huzur Vadisi and Suleyman’s Garden have an emphasis on well-designed simplicity and an authentic experience of traditional Turkish life, close to nature. The Pomegranate is for those who want a little more convenience and comfort, while still surrounded by authentic and rural Turkey on this unspoiled stretch of coastline.

It has been designed with great attention and care, featuring natural materials, stone and cedar, furnished tastefully with wood, rattan and stunning fabrics and has a large, abundant garden filled with fruit trees. There is accommodation in single, double and twin en-suite rooms for between eighteen and twenty two people.

The Pomegranate Boutique Hotel

‘The hotel is similar in style to a Riad. It is outstanding. The rooms are furnished exquisitely. The whole hotel is breathtaking and spotlessly clean. The service we received was phenomenal. It is a peaceful haven in which one can comfortably indulge in relaxation, drinking in the stupendous views, and if one feels inspired then there are some magnificent walks.’
