Daily programme
We will spend the days exploring meditation, pranayama, asana, yoga philosophy and non-dual tantra. There will be three sessions of yoga a day, you are asked to attend all of the yoga sessions. The yoga is suitable for all levels, we come as we are and we do what we can
Morning session – Meditation, pranayama, with a little break before Yoga Asana.
Evening session – Yin Yoga, Mantra, journaling, sharing, Satsang, evening pranayama and meditation, yoga Nidra.
We have a beautiful shaded wooden outdoor yoga space with forest and mountain views and an inside space also, No need to carry your mats and equipment as the yoga shall is fully equipped. Between the sessions there will be plenty of time to relax and explore the local surroundings, with one day free to take a boat trip or to just chill.
Yoga will begin on the evening of Monday 23rd October when we will gather for a relaxing yoga Nidra. We will depart on Monday the 30th following the morning session and breakfast.
About Jediah
Jediah discovered Ashtanga Yoga in India in1991 and has been practicing ever since. She began teaching in 2007 and has completed many hours of trainings in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin yoga, and has more recently completed a year of study in Mindfulness and Meditation with Martin Aylward and Mark Coleman .
Since 2009 Jediah has studied with world renowned teacher of non-dual Tantra, Clive Sheridan and her classes are greatly influenced by his unique cocktail of meditation, pranayama, asana and the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta .
Students can expect a potent healing and transformative practice that delights the senses and awakens personal evolution, a practice that cleanses and empowers your vision and purpose and aligns with the teachings of the great mystery, the divine and the elaborate design that we call life. Jediah loves to accompany the class with music, laughter and great adjustments.
Jediah is honoured to have been called to the path of yoga, she’s grateful to all the teachers that have illuminated her life and welcomes all her students with kindness and compassion to be inspired to explore and to awaken to their potential. She teaches regular retreats in beautiful destinations and fuses yoga and the teachings of the medicine wheel, culminating in a process and ceremony called ‘The altar of our lives’. She believes the breath is the ultimate medicine.
