What people have said about The Pomegranate

‘It was a wonderful experience!!! Sigi and Metin and their daughter were fantastic and the Pomegranate is clearly a gem. A real labour of love that is full of warmth and joy. I felt so welcome and they really went above and beyond to help everyone with any requests… thank you’ Ann Pidcock, Yoga teacher

Great place to relax with yoga group – amazing views, great fresh food (can’t beat figs straight from the tree), oxygen cleaned pool, very nice rooms, friendly owners and tomato-addict cat… hammocks dotted around the very well maintained grounds (fruit, olive trees and flowers) so you can have a rest in shade if you wish but we used pool to cool down. Sigis cooking is amazing – did have to buy her cookbook.

I stayed at The Pomegranate as part of a group yoga holiday. The hotel is fantastic, with a nice big pool, a yoga area under a canopy in the orchard, views across to the sea (amazing sunsets) and generous hosts Sigi and Micky. Everything was on hand to make the trip comfortable. The food was delicious, very diverse, and served in a lovely dining area complete with fireplace (where fresh pitta bread was cooked). The sea cove (10min drive) provided a welcome change for a swim. Stayed in the ‘treehouse’ room which has air conditioning too. I came back fully refreshed and urge you to go and experience Sigi and Micky’s amazing hospitality.

Little gem hidden in the mountains of Fethiye with the most picturesque scenery.
I loved absolutely everything about this place. Authentic rooms, good size clean and clear pool. Yoga shala is surrounded by the beautiful fruit garden and the sounds of nature (birds, goats, cycadas..). Sigi and Micky were so welcoming and helpful, and they cook most delicious food.
This was my first visit in The Pomegranate but definitely not the last.

I’ve been visiting The Pomegranate three years running and plan to go back next year. The location is just perfect up the mountain with a cooling breeze and beautiful sunsets every night which can be viewed on the terrace. Sigi & Micky treat you like family. The Pomegranate has everything you could need for a yoga retreat and plenty of fun activities around should you want to venture out.

So fit bit on wrist, suitcase packed I set off for my very first yoga retreat [ever]. I didn’t know what to expect.
Trip for Birmingham airport to Dalaman was good, as was the transfer from airport to The Pomegranate. I was greeted with such a warm friendly welcome that I instantly felt comfortable and at home.
My room was very clean, tidy and had A/C to cool the evening air. The food was absolutely delicious, I can honestly say I enjoyed every mouthful.
The hotel itself is set in beautiful, unspoiled surroundings with fruit bearing trees [grapes, figs, pomegranates – depending on the year] overhanging as you either walk or sit and relax. The sunsets are amazing.
After my first day I started to feel ‘at home’ and was totally relaxed and chilled.
I am already looking forward to next August [2017] when I shall without doubt be booking my place to return.
Thank you Sigi and Mickey, look forward to seeing you again.
