TURKEY TRAVEL
Flights
The flight from Gatwick to Dalaman is 4.5 hours. Prices vary according to time of booking or season. It is advisable to book early to get the best prices. The following companies fly to Dalaman airport. Thomas Cook, Thomson, Easyjet, Turkish Airlines, Pegasus.
Visa
Anyone travelling to Turkey is required to purchase an online visa before entering the country – this can be purchased from the following website: www.evisa.gov.tr
The fee is US$20 The visa needs to be printed and taken with you. Your passport needs to be valid for a further 6 months from the date you depart Turkey
Transfers
Saturday is travel day (unless otherwise stated) and yoga courses start on the following morning. The transfer to Huzur Vadisi is 45 minutes, to Suleyman’s Garden 1.5 hours.
Transfer prices depend on the number of passengers and transfers involved. Generally it works out at around £20 each way if arriving as a group, but if there are a lot of individual arrivals, it can be as much as £50 each way. It is worth checking with your teacher before booking your flight to see when others are arriving to keep your transfer costs down.
SPAIN TRAVEL
Flights
The flight from Gatwick to Almeria is 2.5 hours and is served by Easyjet, Thomas Cook, Vueling and Iberia.
Transfers
Saturday is travel day (unless otherwise stated) and yoga courses start on the following morning. The transfer time from the airport is half an hour.
Transfer prices depend on the number of passengers and transfers involved. We can arrange transfers, which generally work out between €15 – €25 per person one-way, depending on numbers. It is worth checking with your teacher before booking your flight to see when others are arriving to keep your transfer costs down.
Car hire, if required, is only available from the airport.
ROME TRAVEL
Flights
The flight from Gatwick to Rome is 2.5 hours and is served by Easyjet, British Airways, Vueling and Ryan Air.
Transfers
We recommend that you fly to Fiumicino Airport, as there is a direct train from the airport to a station only five minutes from the villa. Ciampino airport is also an option if you fly RyanAir.
Train The train from Fiumicino takes an hour, stopping at Settebagni station, five minutes from the villa. The ticket is €12 and we can send a car to pick you up.
Taxi A taxi can be arranged for you either from Fiumicino or Ciampino (35/40 minutes). The cost is approximately €60/70 (depending on traffic) to be shared between up to four people; plus €1 per luggage.
WALES TRAVEL
By Train The local station is Caersws, around 15 minutes from the venue. Trains run every two hours, arriving at just after 2:00 pm and 4:00pm, which ties in with normal check-in time. London Euston to Caersws is 3.5 hours.
We can arrange a taxi to meet you. Price depends on numbers sharing, 1 – 4 persons approx. £15 each way divided by number of passengers; 4 – 6 persons £20 each way divided by number of passengers.
