Excursions in Wales

Several beautiful walks of varying lengths can be taken directly from the venue, which is on the long distance footpath, the Glyndwr Way. Or longer walks can be arranged, with transport, to the nearby Hafren Forest to walk to the source of the River Severn high in the Cambrian Mountains (Wet weather gear and boots needed for this)

There is also a footpath taking around an hour into the historic and pretty town of Llanidloes… a place time seems to have forgotten. The town often features in the top ten best places to live in Britain…a picturesque and sleepy place, with lots of characterful small independent shops and a historic half-timbered market house.

If you want to spend some time on the water then the hiring of paddleboards on the local reservoir can be arranged. Paddleboard tuition and guided tours are also available.

Guided walks and mountain bike (E bikes too) days out in the forest and surrounding mountains make for the perfect outdoor experience.
