What people have said about Santillán

‘Gathered on the terrace for a prawn and chicken paella on our last night, a glass of wine aligned with my newly discovered gravitational plumb line, I gave thanks to Señor Marchini for this peaceful place, and found myself wondering how many more lives Santillán will change.’ Lucy Edge, Yoga teacher and novelist, author of ‘Yoga School Dropout’ and ‘Down Dog Billionaire’

Thank you so much. We really enjoyed Santillan. It is a lovely place, and the staff were really very helpful. They made lovely Spanish food, and incorporated our suggestions. My feedback is really positive. The place itself is gorgeous, the yoga room fabulous, pool etc all great. The rooms are beautiful, and comfy beds, pillows etc , all the important stuff.  Michele Pernetta August 2016

The studio is absolutely beautiful!  What a wonderful space and so well thought out. We had absolutely everything we could possibly need and it was a real pleasure to teach there for the week. There are many great things about Santillan – the view, the studio, the atmosphere. Beautiful jasmine scents and a wonderful style building. I found the staff really polite and very friendly too. Thank you.  Ann Pidcock September 2016

Santillán, a yoga and wellbeing centre that opened last year high in the hills to the east of Málaga, has many things to recommend it. There are the beautiful views over the Med, the gorgeous Spanish finca-style accommodation (this used to be a boutique hotel until the owners teamed up with renowned UK yoga teacher Simon Low to turn it into a retreat), pretty gardens and a lovely swimming pool. But what sets it apart from any other centre is the vast, newly built, light-filled shala (yoga hall) with its 190-square metre Great Yoga Wall. Covered in detachable hooks for belts and straps, it has been designed to allow students of all heights and abilities to work on alignment and perfect held poses.
